European Distributor Sales Manager

Job Description
Our International Client based in Bracknell, Berkshire require an experienced European Distributor Sales Manager to join their team for a 12 month period. Role: Reporting to the Distributor Sales Section Manager, this role is pivotal in supporting Clients Products business expansion in European region. You will be responsible for sales performance through high profile distributors and in charge of applying sales strategy in a list of given markets. Customer driven, you will develop a close business relationship with distributors, ensuring full understanding and support of the market.This role also requires close follow up on overall sales process from order to delivery to ensure highest satisfaction level. Regular European travels are expected to perform the role. As an active member of the sales team, you will take part in several projects to dynamise offer and motivate/support distributor business. Main Responsibilities: * Develop score cards to analyse and assess Distributors commercial performances, including Volumes, M/S, Profit. * Challenge commercial performances of the entities by proposing plans considering all commercial aspects (DD, Sales, Marketing) * Follow up on budget setting and achievements, identifying all issues and proposing countermeasures. * Reflecting Sales and Marketing Strategies on the strategies developed at Distributors conduct necessary updates on them when necessary to gain full benefit * Negotiate with Distributors to strive for incremental Volumes and Profit * Ensure key Principles and Governance are applied at Distributor level, including Financial risk surveillance and Branding issues. * Apply appropriate pricing/ grading strategies to support profitability, volume and brand image in each territory. * Is the interface between distributors and Company for all topics, including Quality, After Sales, Technical problems, possibly IT. Qualifications, skills and experience required: * Sales management experience in complex and international environment. * High analysis skills and sales sensitivity to propose new actions for counter measures * Ability to set up plans, and to convince on the actions to run * Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at a high level * International cultural understanding and knowledge as well as good language skills. * Results focussed - with a proven ability of achieving - or surpassing - sales and profitability targets. * An ability to lead and manage change, and to inspire others to drive towards common goals. * Strong interpersonal and communications skills * Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively. * Expected to travel extensively. * Strong MS Office Suite skills Is this you?
