Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking, compassionate and well organised electrician to join our team. As a Fairhome Group Electrician, you will be directly contributing to maintaining a homely and welcoming environment within our residential and supported living services. The role is being advertised in the Kent, however you will be required to travel to other areas nationwide when required. Overall Responsibilities In this role you will be expected to perform a wide variety of electrical repairs, testing and inspections, including PPM works tasks. You will also be required to carry out both reactive and responsive works. It is a requirement that you will have consideration and kindness for our vulnerable service users in the supported living sector. We are looking for someone with Electrical experience in maintenance and general building. Job Type / Category Fairhome Group is a rapidly growing business who specialise in the care industry. As part of Fairhome Group, Fairhome Asset Management Ltd provide a variety of services on behalf of its clients which includes property maintenance, housing benefit support to tenants and housing management. Main duties and responsibilities: * Undertake any duties consistent with the overall purpose of the post as directed by the Maintenance Operations Manager. * Undertake duties/emergency tasks as assigned * Electrical - Repairs, testing and inspections * Complete daily PPMs and reactive jobs * Carrying out EICR and testing in domestic properties * Produce EICR Reports * Completion of remedial works when applicable Skills and competencies: * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Ability to work under pressure * Electrical qualifications - City of Guilds 2391/2395 * 17TH Edition * PAT testing ability * An understanding of confidentiality * A full UK driving licence-use of our company vehicle Benefits In return you will receive the following benefits: * Salary level 29,000.00 * Travel Allowance * Annual Company Bonus - Performance based * Company Van * Meal Allowance * PPE, Uniform & footwear * Annual Leave after 6 months probationary period * 25 days annual leave per year Responsibilities: We are looking for a hardworking, compassionate and well organised electrician to join our team.
