Role Overview We are looking for high-calibre candidates: self-starters who are confident in client supporting roles. You are passionate about delivering quality software and services. You will be working collaboratively and autonomously within a small BI/MIS team to develop the data warehouse and processes to enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities As a BI engineer, your responsibilities will involve: Develop the data warehouse and associated ETL processes Enhancing and performance tuning ETL processes Troubleshooting ETL issues and data anomalies, contributing to discussions for their resolution Release management from development and testing through to production Develop internal processes with a view towards CI/CD; Automating processes Engaging with various stakeholders to understand system behaviours and how these should be modelled Develop regulatory reporting for the lending and savings industries Key Attributes, Skills and Experience Solid and demonstrable SQL Development experience working with large and complex data sets; strong DML and SQL scripting experience Technologies; SQL Server 2012, 2016, SSIS, SSRS Experience with Team Foundation Server or similar source control system desirable Strong understanding of data warehousing methodologies Excellent numeracy skills Advanced Excel skills Able to visualise interrelated processes that can affect an outcome - holistic thinking Experience delivering accurate and insightful analysis from complex data sets Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders Enthusiasm and passion for technology and continuous improvement A keen interest in working with data Banking experience or experience of the lending industry beneficial but not essential Apply for this Job
