A key Client of Austin Vita's has reached out for support on a new and interesting role, a Immunohistochemistry sales and applications specialist. This role will be field based and requires a candidate with an existing knowledge of Immunohistochemistry mixed with experience of field sales and the implementation/demonstration of new systems. ([email protected]) Position Summary: Field based position responsible for performing field sales, account qualification and management, basic marketing, product demonstrations, application troubleshooting, and customer training for the bussiness' Immunohistochemistry (IHC) solutions in the research market. This position will require daily conversations with researchers about advanced applications and workflow for IHC in the research market. The person in the role will both learn and be expected to teach/train new team members on selling and applications for IHC within research market segment. Responsibilities: * Interpret and understand customer user requirements and how they relate to product functionality and performance. * Manage region and portfolio of Immunohistochemistry * Perform demonstrations and installation of new systems in order to become more expert at managing software and understanding systems. * Collaborate on commercialisation efforts of new products and software. * Take ownership of sales process and closing. * Review available technical literature to maintain an awareness of current Immunohistochemistry opportunities and regulatory rules-including appropriate positioning to ensure maximum potential of all opportunities in the market Preferred Requirements/Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required - A higher degree such as a masters or PhD would be preferred. * Must be an expert in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Multiplexing. * Experience in technical equipment sales into clinical and/or research environments. * Experience in using a CRM tool * Ability to work with minimal supervision in a laboratory / hospital environment and in the field. * Customer focused with appropriate sensitivity and sense of urgency for customer issues. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving, listening, and organisational skills. * Up to 75% Travel is required.
