Job Description
We are delighted to be working alongside our energetic and passionate client to recruit for a Chef De Partie for their stunning village pub/restaurant. The site is a beautiful & uniquely finished country inn having a superb blend of traditional and contemporary decor. Situated in the lovely village of Crosthwaite near Kendal, the establishment has gained much deserved recognition for delivering consistent, quality cooking and service in comfortable surroundings. The site currently holds a 2AA Rosette accreditation and focuses on producing modern British pub cuisine with elements of traditional influence. There is a strong emphasis on using quality seasonal ingredients and locally sourced where possible. With a strong food led trade, the chef brigade can cater for around 100 covers over a Friday and Saturday period and up to 150 on Sunday's. The average working week is around 45-50 hours working a mixture of straight and split shifts 5 days over 7 for a fantastic salary and Tips package.
