Job Description
MMP Consultancy are currently seeking an experienced Clerk of Works for a Local Authority based in East London to come into the organisation immediately. The Main duties for this role are the following: * Inspect works during and post completion to ensure the specifications are being adhered to. * Manage contractors on specific Major Works programmes, act as technical liaison and advise on works. * Ensure quality throughout the projects being worked on, inclusive of amending / creating schedules of work for incomplete / defected works. * Keep a consistent and detailed report of all works being completed, including any deviations / variations from original plans. * Ensuring compliance and adherence to Health and Safety regulations throughout the organisation What you will need: * Our Client requires you to have access to your own car what you will be paid £0.45p Per mile for any work-related mileage.
