Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation TrustDirectorate of Medical physics and medical imaging CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST IN ONCOLOGY We are looking to recruit a Consultant Radiologist with an Interest in Oncology within the Imaging and Medical Physics department of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Northern General and Royal Hallamshire Hospitals. The successful candidate will join the existing team of 6 Consultant Radiologists with various subspecialist gynaecological interests as part of the broader team of 45 Radiologists within the Imaging directorate. He/she will be required to cover for colleagues during periods of absence and will be expected to take part in the general on-call rota. The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the national consultant contract. The successful candidate must have full GMC registration, and hold a CCT in Clinical Radiology or have a CCT date, within 6 months of the date of interview. Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.
