Lecturer in Graphic Design

Lecturer in Graphic Design 35,845, rising annually to 39,152, pro rata Part Time, Permanent - Academic We are looking to appoint a part-time (0.5fte) Lecturer in Graphic Design to contribute primarily to our BA in Graphic Design. The successful applicant will hold a PhD in Graphic Design (or a related area), or have equivalent professional experience. You will be a confident and inspiring teacher, with experience of teaching at undergraduate level. You will also have the desire and willingness to contribute to the cultural environment of the School of Arts, and to help increase its industry networks and exposure. Also essential is a commitment to Widening Participation, and the ability to create a diverse curriculum. Within this role there will also be opportunities to teach across other Art & Design programmes in the School of Arts, and you will help to lead collaborative projects between these programmes. You will be joining a rich and diverse research culture, and will become a member of CoRA (Centre of Arts Research), the School of Arts new cultural research centre launching in September 2020.
