Editor (Equity Research), London Your responsibilities: * The editing of equity research notes and commentaries produced by Berenberg's c100-strong team of analysts based in London, adhering at all times to established house style; * Final proofreading and preparation of research for timely publication online; * Final proofreading and preparation of the daily Morning Note and the covering email sent out with it to a database of clients; * Close liaison with analysts, other editors and the design/formatting team on everyday workflow production issues and deadlines, especially relating to Morning Note content, to include the compilation of a detailed daily handover note for the incoming shift of editors/formatters, as required. Your profile: * Experience of financial editing, preferably (but not necessarily) in the equity research department of an investment bank; * Excellent written English, an eye for detail and consistency, a strong grasp of grammar and syntax, and a clear sense of the importance of maintaining structure and style; * Ability to edit quickly and accurately to tight deadlines; * A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, database applications and functions, and online publishing; * Ability to repair incorrectly formatted financial data in tables and charts; * Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise; * Ability to work independently but at the same time as part of a close-knit team of seven editors and four designers; * Excellent time management skills and a flexible attitude to working hours.
