Bearsted Primary Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint two enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistants to join our highly collaborative and supportive team. Our LSAs will provide a great deal of support for our teachers, therefore our successful candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike. About the role: Bearsted Primary Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint two enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistants to join our highly collaborative and supportive team. This is an exciting and rare chance to join a school from the very beginning of its journey and play a pivotal role in its success and development, laying the path for future years. Our LSAs will provide a great deal of support for our teachers, therefore our successful candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike. Key responsibilities will be to work with pupils on a daily basis and to provide wider support to the Class Teacher. The LSAs are also responsible for the welfare of children and to attain the targets set within the National Curriculum or Individual Education Plans. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, be reliable and excellent communicators. This permanent position offers an actual salary of £11,512 per annum. The basis is 30 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset (8.30am - 3.00pm Monday - Friday with 30 minutes lunch break). Please note that due to the current pandemic, the role is likely to be based at Langley Park Primary Academy until the new building can be opened. Bearsted Primary Academy: Bearsted Primary Academy, opening in September 2020, will be welcoming its first cohort of Reception children of up to 60 pupils, two classes of 30 in each. Every year we will continue to grow our academy until we reach full capacity of 420 pupils across Years R - 6.
