Learning Support Assistant - LSA - South London - 1 year contract Learning Support Assistant required for the SEN department of a secondary mainstream school in South London to start in September for a 1 year contract for the whole academic year **Learning Support Assistant -MLD/ASD/BESD **Would suit an experienced LSA or recent Graduate with experience working with young people in a school or similar environment. ** Classroom and non-classroom based ** Learning Support Assistant at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 **1:1 and small group interventions ** Supportive SENCO to develop your knowledge and skills ** Successful Ofsted rated 'good' - Comprehensive in South London - ideal environment for motivated LSA to gain SEN and school experience. This Learning Support Assistant role will involve working 1:1 and doing small group intervention work with 11-16 students within the SEN department as well as in class support. The students have a variety of needs including mild autism (ASD), Speech and Language and emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are looking for a strong Learning Support Assistant with previous experience working with secondary learners with Special Education Needs to join the SEN team starting in September 2019. The school is a lively inner London school based in South London, easily commutable from South, East or North London due to excellent transport links.
