Job Description
TerraCycle Overview - Operating in 21 countries (including 12 in Europe), TerraCycle is a world leader in the recycling of hard-to-recycle waste, such as pens, snack wrappers, food pouches, beauty product packaging, home care product packaging and even cigarette butts or marine plastics. We create collection and recycling solutions for anything that would otherwise be sent to incineration or landfill, the waste we collect is then transformed into new products such as benches or tables. For many of our solutions, we partner with some of the most recognizable brands and retailers in the world, including BIC, L'Oreal, P&G and Tesco amongst others to collect waste on a large scale. Job Overview - This role would be an ideal role for a proactive, deadline-driven individual with good all-round accounting experience, looking to expand their European accounting experience within a fast-moving and rapidly expanding business dealing with multiple countries. The Assistant Management Accountant will report directly to the Assistant Finance Manager. Primary responsibilities: * Sales Invoices * Submitting sales invoices through portals, by email, by post * Credit Control * Reconciling balance sheet accounts * Journals, Accruals, Prepayments * Month-end close * Deal with queries * VAT Returns * Provide holiday cover for Payables * Other ad-hoc duties Requirement skills: * At least 2 years experience within a finance department, foreign currency, experience of all aspects of accounting. * Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues and external contacts at all levels. * Excel skills essential * SAP experience desirable * Be willing to adapt to different business scenarios Compensation - * Salary depending on experience * 25 Paid Holiday Days * 2 Volunteering Days * Quarterly Team Building * On site Yoga and activities * Company Pension contribution (3% of salary) * Start Date - Asap Job description is not all-inclusive.
