Job Description

Learning Support Teacher | SEN Teacher | Permanent September Start | South London September vacancy for a Learning Support Teacher to work at an inner city school in South London. The role will involve small class teaching and intervention groups to learners with a variety of moderate special educational need including mild learning difficulties, dyslexia, autism and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Ideal applicants for this Learning support Teacher opportunity will be passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people who have barriers to learning. We are looking for an individual with fantastic organisational skills and an excellent communicator, naturally able to fit into the supportive team ethos across the school. Within the Learning Support Unit the school are committed to providing an exceptional learning environment in which learners can thrive and where all staff can develop professionally. If you have a proven track record in raising achievement across different student groups through a series of intervention and support strategies then we would like to hear from you. You should be passionate about seeing all students succeed and have the will to ensure barriers to progression are removed Applicants for this should have a valid teaching qualification such as QTS or QTLS and be available for a long term/permanent role to start September.
