Their brand is synonymous with service quality, reliability and operational excellence. They have a strong focus on delivering high-quality services across a number of verticals. They are now seeking two degree educated Logistics Analysts to join a well-established key account management team supporting the international supply chains of several market leading retail brands across fashion/apparel, homewares, health and beauty. You will be based at our client's brand-new head office in East London which is located very close to a mainline and tube Station - our client also operates a free shuttle bus from the station to their offices which takes just 5-10 minutes. As a Logistics Analyst you will be the primary operational and process lead point for high profile and complex Retail Key Accounts. You will also will act as a subject matter expert for all internal operational stakeholders working on key international and national retail accounts, in addressing and resolving all process issues related to these Key Accounts.You will support customer satisfaction by delivering effective communication, information and problem resolution. You will also map current internal processes whilst also supporting implementation of new procedures, assisting in the development of new projects and programmes enabling stronger business growth and performance and excellent relationships between the relevant Retail Key Accounts and our client. The Role of Logistics Analyst: Act as the first level internal operations escalation, logistics analysis and key account management support for any process related question, problem or other issue. Establish/ ensure excellent customer care: e.g. analyse and identify recurring internal process failures/issues and problems and report these to the respective process owner including Asia Operational colleagues for international freight. Maintain international logistics procedures and documentation up-to-date for the key retail accounts including supporting documents like SOPs). Provide reporting and analysis on key retail accounts performance against stringent KPI's. Monitor invoicing performance (outstanding payments / overdue payment). Support Key Account Managers, with logistics analysis and solutions design and identification of opportunities for process improvement. Participate in regular customer meetings/ phone calls as part of your role as a Logistics Analyst and key account management support. Support Key Account Managers in providing customers with regular performance and rate updates including. monitoring buy rates, new rate card distribution and implementation and support the preparation of new/additional business offers to customers. Support Key Account Managers in managing carrier allocation and support. Support Key Account Managers in producing and analysing regular KPI measures. Support and manage the development of projects within the Operations and Key Account Management teams, which will enable our client to raise the sophistication of its services delivered to Key Retail Accounts on an international basis. The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be university degree educated, (a Master's degree would be advantageous) and will possess a demonstrable track record of success and knowledge of logistics planning and logistics analysis, solutions design, supply chain and logistics development, business development or key account management within the retail vertical. This experience may have been gained within a 3PL, or an international freight forwarder/multi modal operator or within a major international or European retailer specialising in fast moving apparel, homewares or grocery. Expertise will include a strong overall understanding of the retail supply chain from order management, vendor management, consolidation, global air, sea and land freight management, multi modal transportation, international hub management, deconsolidation, regional and destination distribution centres, store order fulfilment, distribution management. In addition, value added services ranging from retail point of sale (POS) to customised packaging, delivery optimisation and returns management. Fluent in English.
