An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Analyst to join our Logistics, Customer Operations team. This role is a 6 months secondment to join a small team of 3 SME's reporting into the Technical Specialist Manager. What you'll be doing The main focus of the Technical Support Analyst within Logistics is to provide subject matter, digital workflow process and project expertise. The will also include the identification, management and implementation (ranging from small to large scale) of document capture and recognition solutions for Logistics and wider business. The Technical Support Analyst provides support for wider Logistics activities & projects, including: risk, financial processes and change and efficiencies. The role requires strong technical, analytical and communication skills What being a Technical Support Analyst Involves * Providing Subject Matter Expertise for document collection and recognition solutions that will be based on the Open Text software platform * Designing, delivering and implementation of digital workflows * Identifying and defining opportunities to digitalise paper based processes across DLG * Design end to end digital solutions and related processes using Open Text software (using rule building, web reports and workflows) * Delivering and managing the implementation of solutions - supporting new processes and services as a result of Change Requests from the wider business * Following release and change management processes * Deal sensitively with highly confidential information * Responsible for the role out of new and existing systems, processes, procedures and products, maintaining all standards of practice and lead process improvement initiatives on a day-to-day basis * Driving improvement and efficiency initiatives * Preparing and publication of training material as well as delivery of training * Establishing relationships with internal customers and 3rd parties * Provide investigation, analysis & validation support for Logistics What skills and qualities we are looking for: * Experience of analysis & project support * Experience of MI reporting & validation * Good numeracy, written & presentation skills * Knowledge of Digital Workflow * Strong communication skills - both written and verbal * Experience of incident, change and release management * An effective standout colleague with the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and business partners * Although not essential, it would be beneficial to have knowledge of Open Text products (Enterprise Scan, Validation and Content Server) and knowledge of inbound capture processes across both digital channels and analogue (paper based) channels. Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
