Job Description We are currently recruiting an Operations Manager to join the Pre-Filled Syringe department in Runcorn on a Full Time, Permanent Basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing a defined Value stream (filling, packing & projects) to achieve improvements in planned steriles production, pharmaceutical awareness, capacity utilisation, quality, cost and supply plans and activities in compliance with company, regulatory, pharmaceutical and internal/external standards. Key Responsibilities: + Achieve set production KPIs for own defined value stream whilst supporting other value streams when needed. + Through implementation of continuous improvement philosophy, manage and improve pharmaceutical standards, awareness & compliance within the technical team (measures: CAPA close out, NCR close out, clean room standards, engineering standards) + Recruit, train, develop and coach technical team members such that increased focus is put on pharmaceutical awareness and operating standards as well as job skills and knowledge + Provide leadership for on shift problem solving and fault diagnosis + Analyse shift performance and implement appropriate actions to utilise capacity and enhance standards + To act as site responsible person outside of normal business hours Knowledge, Skills and Experience + Extensive experience of Aseptic Pharmaceutical Processing and leadership + Team working - must be able to operate as part of an operations and supply chain team + Leadership - must be able to lead pharmaceutical compliance, standards and operational performance improvement + Tenacious - able to influence and motivate people to achieve all supply chain goals + Technical - able to present the departmental activities and debate technical issues with confidence + Follow up - able to effectively delegate and follow up on performance development Qualifications + Scientific Degree in Microbiology, Biologics or Bioscience Function Manufacturing Sub Function Manufacturing/Operations Already Working @TEVA?
