Job Title Assurance Analyst (12 Month FTC) Location Glasgow This opportunity sits within the Client and Account Operations which is a function within Wealth & Investments (W&I) and Private Bank & Offshore Services (PBOS) Operations in Execution Services. In this role the successful applicant will build high quality relationships with clients and stakeholders whilst supporting their credit servicing needs. They will also facilitate the management of risk within Client & Account Operations via the implementation, embedding and management of the Operational Framework. What will you be doing? * Perform Conformance Testing on critical credit tasks to the agreed volume & frequency, including the logging and tracking of issues identified, * Manage and support the escalation of audit, risk and CASS issues and support the teams' day to day activities, * Provide oversight of checklists and internal controls; fostering a strong risk management culture within the team, * Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in the event of incidents, liaise with the relevant teams and stakeholders and complete reporting tasks, * Challenge the scope and focus of the Quality Assurance and Conformance Testing activity, * Identifying key risk indicators and analysing and reporting risk incidents within the Client and Account Ops teams. What we're looking for: * Proficiency in presenting information in a concise and informative manner, * Relevant lending / credit / risk / operational experience, * Be able to deal with Senior stakeholders at Director level and upwards, * Good knowledge of operational risk requirements and standards applicable to the relevant processes and procedures. Skills that will help you in the role: * Previous experience of working in Financial services preferably within a Risk and Controls team/function, * Good knowledge of operational risk requirements and standards applicable to the relevant processes and procedures.
