Happy to Talk Flexible Working We have an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a wide range of projects across the Marine Sector. We are looking for Marine and Weapons/ Combat Systems Engineers, at a range of grades, to help us expand our service in delivering exciting projects to our clients. Our work spans the complete engineering life-cycle and we are looking for a range of experiences to work on projects for both Surface Ships and Submarines. The sort of projects you will be involved with will vary from small and rapid turnaround, to supporting Tier 1 suppliers in key embedded roles within their organisations. Experience of the defence domain is desirable but applicants from other domains with transferable skills will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in a consultancy style of working. Depending on experience you may be managing teams, working within teams or leading projects, you will have excellent communication skills and strong organisational and planning skills. You will be qualified in an Engineering Discipline to HNC/ HND/ Foundation Degree or equivalent, an engineering degree is desirable. Lower qualifications with considerable experience at the right level will be considered. Requirements The candidate should have a strong technical and project background which should include several of the following: * Experience of marine propulsion, power, combat or support/ platform systems in the surface warship or submarine domain * Project management experience * Strong organisational and planning skills * Experience of working independently and a willingness to take ownership of issues and tasks * Drive to complete work on time, within budget and to a high quality * Professional attitude and outlook when dealing with other companies and organisations * As well as the above, you will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
