Application Security Lead - Financial Services - London Our client is a leading FinTech, based in the City of London in modern offices overlooking the Thames with roof terraces, open plan floors, bar, gym and flexible remote working. They build cutting edge, innovative trading platforms and are looking to hire someone to lead their Application Security (AppSec) and Security Engineering team. You'll be the senior engineer in a team of specialists, shaping the company's approach to security and implementing new strategies, tools and processes how you want. You'll work with award-winning software development teams to define secure development best practices, lead training, threat modelling, creating coding standards and reviews, and building automated code validation. You'll have a lot of freedom to determine the best way to accomplish these goals - real ownership over your work. Requirements: - Good experience of application security (AppSec) engineering and the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) - A strong background of development and software engineering (Java, C++, C#.NET etc) - Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Kubernets, Docker and AWS would be perfect (DevSecOps) - Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 & MITRE CWE 25 - Experience delivering training for secure coding - Experience of threat modelling - A passionate for information security and be involved in staying up to date with developments in the AppSec field
