Job Description

We're looking for a Sales Apprentice based in Nottingham to support our Go To Market Nationals sales community, while completing a Level 6 degree apprenticeship in B2B Sales. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career while obtaining a valuable qualification. The role The first and second year of the role you'll provide essential sales support to the Nationals sales team, whilst receiving on-the-job training in core sales competencies and skill-sets to help provide the foundations for a long-term career in sales. The third year will be a desk based account manager role, with training to provide you with the unique skills needed to progress to a field based account manager position. You'll often be the first point of telephone and email contact with our key clients and will be responsible for actioning their requests (usage reports, new user requests) You will be responsible for key areas of sales administration such as Queried Debt and Disconnections, whilst also identifying new sales opportunities within new and existing customers. You'll also work closely with the Account Management team to ensure the sales pipeline is accurate and up-to-date, to enable accurate sales forecasting. You'll also work towards gaining a level 6 Business to Business Sales Degree Apprenticeship, and upon successful completion, gain a BSc in Business to Business Sales. Could this be the role for you? You'll have excellent communication skills and be a dynamic, personable individual who is driven, positively challenged and works as a team player to make us even stronger. No previous sales experience is necessary, but you'll show desire and determination to learn and advance your skillset. You will also need to be eligible and committed to completing the Level 6 B2B Sales apprenticeship by meeting the below criteria: Haveachieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade 4-9 / A-C) or above (including Maths and English Language) Have completed your Level 3 studies (2 or more A-levels at D grade or above, or BTEC Level 3 or Level 3 Apprenticeship) by September 2019 Why choose us?
