Job Description

You will support the ACAD working as part of the Catering team to maintain a clean and safe working environment and to assist in all aspects of preparation, service, wash up and cleaning duties related to the provision of a clean working environment and high quality catering service to patients, staff, visitors and functions. You will undertake day to day basic food preparation in association with a daily production schedule provided by the Supervisor and maintain safe systems of work. You will maintain a high standard of personal and general food hygiene as well as high standards of cleanliness in all work areas and present a catering service to patients, staff and visitors. You will notify service Manager or Supervisor immediately of any concerns regarding quantities or quality issues of of food or food products. You will serve meals and beverages for staff, patients, and visitors ensuring portion control. You should have knowledge and experience of blast chilling and have an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate. You should have good communication skills with the ability to handle complaints and respond orally. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday.
