Algorithmic Trading Risk Manager - Tech Lead

**Job Title** : Algorithmic Trading Risk Manager - Tech Lead **Job Description** : This role is to be part of the MSS E-Trading Risk and Controls team, reporting to the Head of E-Trading Risk and Controls. The role will work very closely with the technology developers, business analysts and project managers as well as second line functions to facilitate development of strategic applications Trinity (for E-Trading documentation and workflow) and Halo (for real time monitoring of algo trading). The role will also support with annual MiFID II reviews, technology compliance with LTA Policy, review and challenge of technology stress testing and ensuring critical data elements for effective monitoring of E-Trading is captured in the Ocean data warehouse. The candidate requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. The candidate expect to have a strong understanding of technology architecture to be able to review and challenge technology delivery. The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in and lead a large scale project in a dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** **:** + Working closely with various technology stake holders and second line functions in driving the development of strategic applications Trinity and Halo + Solve issues with technology support and make sure the applications run in an efficient manner. + Assist in completion of MiFID II annual self-assessment relating to technology + Review and challenge of E-Trading technology architecture diagrams for completeness and accuracy + Work with various technology and business stakeholders to ensure critical data elements for effective monitoring of E-Trading strategies are captured in Ocean data warehouse. + Being able to run ad hoc queries and produce monthly metrics + Tests features and functionality in planned software releases. + Coordinates the resolution of operational activities performed by the production support team. **Experience/Knowledge:** + Strong background in the financial services and banking industry. + Experience in management and delivery of technology is a plus. + Strong knowledge of infrastructure/ Hardware/ Software/ Database/ Middleware stack/Software Development. + Expert level knowledge in SQL, Windows, Linux, Oracle. + Exposure to Cloud based technologies, Microsoft Azul, AWS, Google, etc. + Exposure to R/Python/C++/Java is a plus. + Experience in Agile project management.
