Overview
Globally recognised Investment Bank is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their Market Data team and work on the firms Algorithmic Indices offering. This is a hands-on development role working primarily with Java but also offers the opportunity work with Python. Working closely with quants, front office and operations to implement strategic solutions. The suitable candidate will have experience of the full software development life-cycle including agile methodologies and other aspects of successful product delivery. Focusing heavily on building and implementing a strategic platform for Algorithmic Indices to replace the current suite of legacy and end-user-compute solutions. Key skills required: Extensive hands on experience working with Core Java, Spring and REST Experience dealing with market data and more specifically Bloomberg APIs (BPIPE/SAPI/Data License). Previous Hibernate exposure Greenfield project experience end to end Strong database experience ideally KDB, MYSQL. Exposure working within an Agile environment & Pair Programming. Market Data Feeds Product delivery experience gained in a front office environment (ideally Derivatives) Experience working with Algorithmic indices and/or cross-asset derivatives and/or structured products.
