Job Description The primary role for the as a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer is to provide technical and business expertise in integrating data from a variety of source systems and presenting them through reports and dashboards. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. You'll also be responsible for educating and training stakeholders to use data as an analytical tool. BI engineers must also interact with various teams, stakeholders, and internal customers. Primary Responsibilities * Designing, coding, testing, and documenting all new or modified BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses * Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements * Design and develop core reports and dashboards * Maintain and troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software as necessary * Work across multiple data warehouses to identify, analyze, and interpret trends Primary Qualifications * 3+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data or BI Space * Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL * Experience with data warehouse analysis and design * Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and building dashboards accordingly * Experience building front-end BI applications
