Job Description

CGL deliver specialist engagement, assessment, referral and care planning services as part of the substance misuse services in Tower Hamlets. The RESET Treatment project is responsible for delivering community based services aimed at developing successful engagement and completion of structured treatment by delivering a combination of psychosocial and recovery support interventions, with clinical prescribing if required. As directed by management and line managed by the Clinical Team Lead, the post-holder will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team within Tower Hamlets, leading on BBV testing, wellbeing interventions, blood borne virus screening, health and wellbeing assessments, supporting drug and alcohol prescribing (titration) and detoxification programs and support the team in the development and delivery of clinical health. You will undertake duties involved in the day to day operation, management and development of drug and alcohol prevention, treatment, recovery and well being interventions. Specific duties will also include assessment of health and wellbeing needs, leading on a BBV testing and vaccination programme. Supporting the work of Tower Hamlets Hep C specialist team and community based sexual health services and supporting the delivery of alcohol detoxification across Tower Hamlets. You will have excellent engagement skills, be committed to high quality service provision and the active involvement of service users. You will have some training of relevance and or qualifications and desirable experience when it comes to addressing substance misuse issues. You will be required to work flexibly as required and work openly to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This may include some evening working.
