The Security Operations Manager is responsible for their identified area, that it meets or exceeds the budget and service delivery requirements through ensuring all officers in the portfolio fully understand and comply with all aspects of Mitie and the Client's policies and procedures. You will use highly effective coaching and performance management skills to deliver an industry leading corporate security team for our client. The starting salary for the role is 47,500.00 Main Duties * The security operations manager will effectively manage the performance of multiple sites, ensuring that they build, lead, retain and support in the development of a team of security officers that believe and demonstrate through their work that Mitie is different to other Security service providers * Responsible for the maintenance and review of the Assignment Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments * Ensuring all vacancies are advertised with the appropriate agencies and maintain establishment to deliver the coverage KPI specified by the client through management of recruitment and succession planning to ensure that the Store portfolio has the capability to deliver consistent high levels of service * Ensuring adequate and appropriate training, advice and support is provided to make the team successful. This includes ensuring knowledge and use of key systems, tools and awareness of policies; undertaking regular appraisals; providing open feedback on progress and career development and use of sanctions for under performance. * Ensure that that the Commercial, Residential, Loading Bay and FOH Security Teams are well presented, dynamic, professional, committed, hardworking and understanding individuals. * Develop a strong staff rapport, being available to listen, to assist, to support wherever possible, and to react appropriately and promptly to staff concerns. * Work with the Front of House team in providing a welcoming experience for guests and staff. * Work with the Loading Bay staff to ensure that all deliveries and incoming/outgoing mail & courier items are correctly processed and delivered promptly. * Work in close liaison with the Building Management in order to provide seamless service provision across all disciplines. * Arrange monthly meetings with the other service providers within the building, promoting teamwork and team spirit. * Compile and oversee onsite training, including all Emergency Procedures for Staff and an overview on all on-going/refresher training to ensure staff competency. * Ensure that he/she has a detailed knowledge of the Emergency Procedures and reacts to all incidents in a prompt and professional manner. * Produce thorough investigations and reporting on behalf of Management. * Ensure the overall management and wellbeing of all personnel assigned to the assignment. * Oversee all aspects of the day to day
