SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGER - Remote working and London - CONTRACT £500 - £530 pd. Service Transition Manager required to work on the next phase of the delivery of IT Services, including a new in-house service desk (bought in-house from an outsourced provider). Using your proven skills in Service Transition and Service Management you will work with the senior leadership team in the development of IT service Delivery and delivering strong performance of service contracts through external suppliers. You will be an experienced Service Manager leader with experience of Service Management and Service Transition issues and solutions involved in building an IT Service Delivery function including a new Service Desk within a multi-million pound organisation with a complex customer and user base. Duties. Lead and encourage innovation and implementation new technologies and processes for Service Delivery. Service Management and Service Transition of IT Services including in-house service desk to develop the new desk to support the entire organisation. Liaise with senior internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and adjust delivery of IT Services appropriately. Working on the Service Delivery elements of key supplier relationships within this area, maintaining a partnership that delivers key services and projects to a high standard. Be responsible for leveraging value for money from IT's service contracts. Deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction within agreed SLAs. Maintain the IT Service Delivery financial plan and budget. Provide strong leadership and effective management of a diverse team, including recruitment, training and development of staff. Drive performance, ensuring that high performance standards are established and actively managed - formally if necessary. Maintain a flexible and responsive workforce and culture that manages change and service improvement organically and incrementally, utilising effective allocation and use of staff to achieve outcomes efficiently. Develop plans to ensure that the organisation has appropriately skilled resources to meet organisational objectives and commitments. IT Asset Management - including purchasing, building and implementing. Sets performance targets, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria. Skills.
