Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. Job Description We are looking for a special person, someone who has a kind, compassionate heart and really wants to make a true difference to the quality of life of our clients. This is care - but perhaps not as you know it. Care with the genuine time to be person centered and caring, frankly it is the way all care should be done. It is the standard of care that we would want for ourselves or our loved ones. Our care is supporting Seniors to be Happy and Independent at home. Its not a Monday to Friday 9-5 role, it is a bit more real life than that. So, we call our weekend team the 'Super Squad'. All our CAREGivers have a variety of backgrounds (no experience is required) and for them it is a chance to earn whilst having the pleasure of 'giving back' and 'doing our bit'. For some it is a top up of income, something that runs alongside their weeks job, for others it is the most family friendly way to earn as a parent - tag teaming child care between parents for example! We do not ask for you to be available all weekend, but 10 hrs across am or pm's enables us to match you with a client or clients (the matching is key, you become friends as well as a supporter). You could be part of something really very special. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be RELIABLE, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others. Additional Information As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay (WEEKEND, EVENING AND MORNING RATES ARE 10.75/hr) and truly excellent support.
