We are looking for an Operations and Systems Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be happy working in a fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Role * Ensure that our co-packers have everything they need * Adhere to the highest food safety standards * Constantly innovate to make our operational processes and systems more efficient * Work closely with the Head of Operations * Oversee printing of labels and manifests for the daily packing process. * Oversee the production of all boxes by our co-packers on a weekly basis, and work closely with the other members of the operations team to ensure that boxes are ready for dispatch. * Work with line managers to ensure people, processes and systems are in place to hit key production targets, and crucially that we are constantly improving in this area. * Focus on the reduction of errors through the production process and strive for continued improvement. * Drive technology and process improvement to increase packing efficiency and reduce error rates, including being the point person to automate parts of production. * Communicate business needs accurately with our co-packers. * Take pride in improving production quality and respond promptly to any quality complaints. * Understand and observe the HACCP across the production process. * Build strong commercial relationships with the day-to-day contacts at our co-packers * Report on co-packer performance. * Reduce waste across the production function, including expenditure on delivery and storage costs. * Conduct regular checks of equipment used in the packing process. * Inspire the co-packing teams to care about our customers, brand and product. * Embrace change and adapt quickly to business priorities. Requirements * Impressive graduate qualifications * Extensive project / programme management experience * Excellent knowledge of Excel * A proven ability to be self-starting and work independently Benefits * Saturday to Wednesday * Negotiable, dependent on experience & days * Pension scheme * 25 days holiday per year (pro rata) * Food available on site * 50% discount on Mindful Chef boxes delivered to your home * Christmas and Summer staff parties
