What you will do We are seeking a Building Management Systems (BMS) Contract Manager who can manage a team of Project Managers across the UK & Ireland. You will be responsible for the overall assessment of contractual, technical and commercial aspects of all major projects. You will work closely with your team to achieve customer satisfaction, business growth and most importantly, Health and Safety performance which also includes subcontract liabilities. Our team of Project Managers are dedicated to delivering high quality major projects across a broad range of sectors. We provide fire suppression (including sprinkler systems), fire detection, life safety, BMS, security and integrated solutions to end users, developers and contractors. How you will do it As a BMS Contracts Manager you will be empowered to make decisions and effectively manage change whilst dealing with an element of ambiguity. You will excel within a commercial environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, leaning on your excellent planning, organisation and leadership skills. You are intellectually curious - driving continual learning for you and your team. You also understand that internal and external collaboration drives improvement and best practice. A key part of the role is to provide strategic direction to a team of Project Managers. Direct management of the team will drive success by developing key projects, customer planning, 121 coaching and a clear and visible plan. You will be responsible for all BMS related projects from the point the order has been won through to conclusion. You will manage your Project Managers, Customers and have open discussions around cost control, resources available during projects and identify risks where appropriate. What we look for Contract Manager experience with a proven track record of leading and developing teams within a commercial environment Industry and working knowledge of BMS systems Previous experience of managing projects with major contractors and consultants. Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
