Job Description

We are looking for a Business Optimisation Financial Analyst to support our new operating model across our international markets, this role can be based in the UK, Italy or Germany! You will be working with our "Big Ideas" work stream leaders and team members to reflect financial benefits and costs, (opex and capex) in business cases backing investment decisions. You will follow the evolution of the Big Ideas tracking performance results and costs evolution, whilst delivering ad-hoc financial analysis to shape strategic decisions impacting QI financial plans. You will also support on the definition of common financial metrics to compare and track performance at QI level (e.g. development of a digital P&L). As a Business Optimisation Financial Analyst you will report to the QI Business Optimisation Director and be focal point for the adoption of the new approach in one or more QI market (fine-tune of pricing tools, monitor results and partner with market buyers and planners to define introductory prices and manage price lifecycle). As well as developing tools to monitor product margin performance supporting the pricing process at market, category level and support other commercial finance related top projects defined at a future date. Job Description Details * Developing business cases, forecasting and tracking financial & business benefit (business case evaluation) and associated costs. * Completing ad-hoc financial analyses for centralized QI functions. * Creating transparency on financial KPIs, risks/opp. (e.g. Digital Store). * Deployment of the new value-based pricing approach acting as Product Owner for the price crawler and the pricing engine. * Supporting the merchandising local teams to adapt pricing processes to embed the value-based pricing tools and approach. Monitor results and adjust article segmentation thresholds, suggest price reviews in order to improve margin. * Develop tool (pricing engine) to support the definition of product prices accordingly with value-based pricing tactics and Budget product margin goals.
