Job purpose: As our Manual Team Leader your role is to lead and motivate a team of Manual Warehouse Operatives and ensure their productivity levels are maximised through KPI management and compliance, and that standards of quality are delivered at all times. Achieve the highest possible throughput using best practices and high levels of supervision and coaching. About the Role: You will be reporting to the Supervisor and Supporting them with the quality of all sortation and its performance against MI measurements, shift rota management and the induction, coaching and training of Warehouse Operatives. You will also be required to communicate any issues and the daily performance to the Manual Supervisors. You will be Leading and motivating a team of Warehouse Operatives (between 14 and 20 per shift) as well as for the operations in your area including throughputs, parcel presentation, productivity levels. You will be responsible for managing and controlling mis-sorts and damages, 100% momentum scanning compliance and Client SLA's to ensure the required KPI's are achieved. It is essential to lead by example adhering and ensuring that all H&S and hygiene requirements are adhered to in the inbound area and the Hub in general whilst on shift. You will be expected to communicate any issues and daily performance to the Supervisors, ensuring that all required shift documentation is complete to the correct standard and timescales (H&S Audits, H&S Behavioural Checks, iPad reports). To be successful Qualifications: Good basic Maths and English skills - both written and verbal iPad Literate Knowledge & Experience: Ideally previous experience in a Team Leading role An understanding of basic KPI's and their drivers Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment Technical & People Skills: Be able to use internal systems and equipment Energetic and motivational Impact & Influence Good communication skills Have enthusiastic, proactive, hands on approach to the job.
