As Clinical Evidence Partner Digital Health & Devices, you will deliver clinical development programmes in compliance with internal policies and external regulations by providing operational and clinical research expertise for specific Digital Health and Devices evidence generation projects. You will apply subject matter expertise in science and in-depth knowledge in clinical research to drive the design, development, implementation, delivery and communication of clinical programs and individual clinical studies to support GSK's digital and device innovation pipeline and demonstrate the value of these products. You will also be accountable for the delivery of key clinical research activities within the Global Safety & Medical (GSM) Digital & Devices team. You will work with the Global Medical Lead for Digital Health & Devices to set a compelling vision that is attuned to consumer, healthcare and technological trends relevant to the future of GSM aspects of product delivery (digital, related innovations, medical/electrical devices, etc.). In addition, you will be expected to evaluate, pioneer and support the roll out of digital and analytical capabilities, business systems and processes required in GSM. As a global individual contributor, you will provide vision, leadership and expertise in clinical research activities so that we generate the right evidence in the right way at the right time to demonstrate the value of our digital health products. You will deliver key contributions to project core teams and will have significant interaction with a number of internal teams including but not limited to Digital & Tech, Category/Regional/Local Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Statistics & Data Management, as well as external group/individuals such as investigators, academic institutions, clinical research organisations, regulators, technology partners, healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations. These responsibilities include some of the following: * Define, pioneer and drive GSM strategies that maximize opportunities in GSK's digital health & device portfolio throughout lifecycle: innovation; post- launch, HCP and consumer interfaces (evidence, claims, communications); retail implications (e.g. e-commerce) * Implementation of clinical development projects and programs in support of 'beyond the pill' (Drugs+/Digital) solutions that demonstrate how such solutions improve consumer / patient experience and or outcomes. * Develop and execute research plans and studies using an optimal combination of established and novel evidence generating methodologies and protocols. * Develop digital tools that can be applied in clinical studies and development programs * Contribute to the design, conduct and scientific rigor of clinical studies, evaluating the in-vivo performance of products where clinical testing is required or desirable. Organize clinical testing in support of clinical development functions. * Driving the development of clinical development competencies by proficiently leveraging GSKCH's new digital capabilities. * Develop novel GSM strategies for both medical and wellness devices; shape new GSM policy with global agencies when these aren't established, adhere to clear GSM pathways where they do exist. * Ensure the quality of GSM output across Category initiatives. Ensure that any new digital innovations comply with relevant industry and regulatory standards. * Keep up to date with latest developments and provide cutting edge clinical research expertise to facilitate preparation of clinical development and therapeutic strategies for the digital teams, including real-world evidence strategies. * Develop yourself to become a subject matter expert and one of the "faces" of GSK for Digital Health & Devices clinical development through engagement and collaboration with External Agencies, Healthcare Professionals, Professional Societies, Regulators, Healthcare Organizations and Consumers. * Ensures that clinical research activities comply with the requirements of Good Clinical Practice (GCP). * Ensures compliance with GSK data disclosure requirements. * Working as part of the Global Digital & Devices Medical team to support the development of a Culture of High Performance APPLICATION CLOSING DATE - 31st May 2020 Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
