About the team: South West London and St George's Trust is the main provider of integrated mental health and social care services in south west London. Our child and adolescent mental health service provides out-patient and consultation services to children experiencing a range of mental health and developmental difficulties. We have a clinical psychologist post that has been created to form part of a new CAMHS service model which features dedicated and locally-based services. The service includes specialist teams for eating disorders, for assessment of neurodevelopmental difficulties, and for learning difficulties. The model is based on the Choice and Partnership Approach and on the Children and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies initiative. About the role: Clinical psychologists, Kingston CAMHS & Richmond & Kingston SPA, WTE 1 37.5 hours a week (Permanent), (Split between T3 CAMHS WTE 0.5 and Single Point of Access WTE 0.5) We are looking for enthusiastic clinicians to work within a friendly and supportive T3 CAMHS and Single Point of Access service. This role is open to qualified clinical psychologists interested in contributing to the development of an innovative, evidence-based service that encourages participation by service users. We will consider applications from candidates who do not yet have a required qualification or registration, but are in the final stages of completing a process that will lead to meeting these essential person specifications. We regularly take on trainees from the University of Surrey and there are opportunities for joint supervision within this role. We are a strong multi-disciplinary team with a strong psychology presence About the location: Richmond CAMHS is based at the Barns Hospital, South Worple Way, London, SW14 8SU with plans to move back to a new purpose build CAMHS base at the Richmond Royal Hospital.
