We're also a Sunday Times top 100 Best Company to Work for, investing care, time and resources in our people The role We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Advisor to take lead and maintain our organisations compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA). You will assist the Data Protection Manager on all data protection related matters within Catalyst and the development of a privacy strategy. You will promote data protection awareness throughout the organisation by providing training, workshops and other mechanisms to support learning and understanding and Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs). You will develop guidance as well as training and awareness materials for relevant business functions involved in the processing of personal data and draft data protection and privacy related policies, procedures and documentation (including privacy notices). For this position, there will also be the opportunity for flexible working hours and working from home opportunities. Key requirements You will have experience in a data protection capacity, including advising on privacy issues, Subject Access Requests, privacy notices, DPIAs, information sharing agreements and contracts. You will have a relevant Privacy and/or Data Protection certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPP/M) or other relevant professional qualification. You will possess a good standard of literacy and effective written communication skills for writing letters, reports and meeting notes. You will have experience in project management and strong knowledge of and interest in, emerging technologies and devices. You will be organised, with the ability to manage workload within tight deadlines, self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
