Furthermore, you will be expected to be firm, clear, concise and an unambiguous communicator. The role of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner is a highly demanding role for a variety of reasons. Due to the nature of the calls, it can be mentally challenging at times with frequent prolonged and intense calls. Moreover, the emotional demands of the job cannot be underestimated. You will be working with patients/relatives/carers who can be extremely distressed during the call which may include patients disclosing personal trauma's from their past that is still effecting them today.
