Job Description

The Head Teacher of Ardingly College Pre-Prep School, Hilary Nawrocka, invites applications for the post of Nursery Practitioner to support teaching and learning within our flourishing Nursery. This role becomes available from July 2020, and is part time. We are seeking to appoint someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, a good communicator and have the skills to be able to encourage, support and guide the process of learning within our Nursery. They will be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare and have experience of working with young children. The successful candidate will be working with children from 2 to 4 years of age. We are looking for someone with a warm and welcoming smile, able to inspire the children and make every child feel special. The ability to join in with the children, no matter how silly the task, and have fun and laughter in the workplace is also important. We are a warm and welcoming team and are seeking to appoint a special person who enjoys teamwork and collaboration. The hours of this role are 24 hours per week, for 52 weeks per year. The normal working hours will be between 7.00am and 7.00pm. Flexibility is required to cover holidays, study and sick leave.
