Specialty/ Ward Doctor - Eating Disorder/ Personality Disorder Salary: Up to 80,000 (Depending on experience) Location: Crewe, CW1 4QW Are you an outstanding Specialty or Associate Specialist Doctorlooking for your next challenge in psychiatry - and a competitive salary? We have an opportunity for a full-time Specialty Doctor to shape services at our brand new service Cygnet Neild House - while being fully supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist and first-class multidisciplinary team. Cygnet Neild House is our new 30-bed mental health hospital for women which is due to open in Autumn 2020. The hospital is split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health services. This role provides psychiatric care to patients on Clarion Ward, a 15 bed complex personalty disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder and co-morbid disordered eating. This role will be working 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday with an on-call requirement. Apply now to enjoy excellent career prospects whilereaping the rewards of making a difference to others - every day. ----- Your role responsibilities... * Provide high quality treatment under the direction of a Consultant Psychiatrist * Assess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service users * Participate in weekly ward rounds & attend multidisciplinary meetings * Attend Care Programme Approach & Section 117 meetings & mental health review tribunals * Provide up-to-date clinical information at all meetings * Ensure that medical decisions are implemented as planned * Audit medical services & ensure compliance with GMC & other professional guidelines * Uphold policies & procedures and contribute to service governance & development Why Cygnet? You'll also have an educational supervisor to review your progress and oversee your development - and you'll receive support with MRCPsych exams.
