This is a graduate opportunity, fixed term for one year. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? At the start of your placement, you'll be assigned to a specific project that the Software Development team have planned to deliver over the course of the year. You'll be collaborating closely with your immediate colleagues and the wider CityFibre team, bringing your innovative and creative ideas to the table in order to translate business requirements into viable solutions, ensuring the project is delivered successfully within the Agile framework. WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Given the collaborative nature of the role, you'll be a strong communicator and team player with the demonstrable drive and aptitude to learn. * An understanding of and experience in programming and Object-Oriented Design * Coding experience, preferably in PHP with frameworks such as Laravel * Experience in any of MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript + popular libraries and frameworks (beneficial) * Knowledge of unit and integration testing aspects (beneficial) * Ability to manage a demanding workload
