About you: We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to join the Long Term Conditions arm of the Clinical Health Psychology Service, to provide high quality clinical health psychology services to patients under the care of Royal Berkshire Hospital (RBH). This is a permanent full-time Band 8a role focusing on care for people with Long Term Conditions. The post is currently made up of RBH Pain Service (0.6WTE) and Community Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)/ME Service (0.4WTE). You will be working as part of the busy and dynamic BHFT Clinical Health Psychology Service. You will be expected to offer assessments and interventions, as well as work with the hospital MDTs, including physicians, physiotherapists and specialist nurses, to offer a joined up, integrated service. Interview date will be around mid-June June, to be arranged. We are a large CHPS service and there may be opportunities to work in other health settings.
