Job Description

Band 6 Specialist Respiratory Rotational Physiotherapist -Cardiothoracic, critical care and medicine UHCW NHS Trust, Coventry Site. Full time - 37.5 hours UHCW NHS Trust is looking for a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join the expanding in-patient teams based within University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. This post will rotate between critical care, cardiothoracic and medicine. The successful candidates will work within an integrated team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists. We are looking for applicants who have developed skills and knowledge to assess and treat patients with a wide variety of conditions within an acute setting. You should also have experience in staff supervision and student training. Previous involvement in service developments and audits would be advantageous. The post holder will be required to work weekends as part of a seven-day service. Support will be given where necessary to enable participation in the respiratory on call and weekend rota. Training and support will be provided as required. All of the therapy teams are led by experienced band 7 therapists who will support you in your learning and professional development. The Therapy Department values the importance of professional development, training and high quality clinical supervision for all our staff.
