Job title: Security Supervisor Location: 52 Lime Street, London, EC3M 7AF Role Purpose: The role is part of a team of physical security professionals working for 52 Lime Street Development Physical Security operation. This position functions as a part of the physical security provision for the Development to provide security protection to the staff, premises and assets. The role is primarily to monitor and interrogate the CCTV cameras on regular basis, to identify any suspicious behaviours and acts or any possible threats to the building. Furthermore, The CCTV Supervisor is also required to assist the Shift Manager in managing the day to day operation, providing the CCTV monitoring operation is not affected. Role Requirements: Pay: 12.10 Per Hour Hours: 42 hours per week (4 On, 4 Off) To Supervise and assist the team to meet our contractual agreements for our client's site. Responsible for the hour-to-hour management of Company, client and standards. All relevant site training and uniform will be provided and the successful candidate will need to ensure that the team at the site are covering all of the duties needed. This ranges from responding and controlling difficult and demanding situations. Specific Duties: Greet all staff and visitors Inspect all passes Assists with any enquiries Log and announce visitors out of hours Access Control Internal and External foot patrol Monitoring and use of CCTV, fire, intruder and other electronic systems Responding quickly and effectively to emergency situations and assisting with fire evacuation procedures The implementation of Health and Safety, Fire Regulations and other in-house safety/environmental policies Compliance with the Data Protection Act and CCTV code of practice Following practical completion, report to the development Management Team and Security Manager any fabric and electronic security defects. Act with integrity and professionalism at all times. To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria: - Be smart and well presented at all times - Have an SIA SG/DS/CP license and SIA CCTV license. - Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos - Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service - Have previous experience in the security industry - Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements - Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations - Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team - Have a full five year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted -Basic computer literacy required. Experience of various software packages, with excellent keyboard skills desirable
