Date: 05-Jun-2020 Location: London, United Kingdom Company: Tata Communications Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for design of technical solutions related to multiple specializations (product/ technology) for customers with the objective of increasing revenue, profitability and market competitive and ensuring solutions provided meet customer requirements with the objective of ensuring design and delivery of complex solutions as per customer requirements. * Work with the sales team to jointly assess customer requirements. The presales solution architect scans the technology requirements of market, participates in product development activities, speaks in customer / marketing forums to increase brand awareness and propagate Tata Communications portfolio and gain mindshare and market share. * Supports the Product team through the product development lifecycle and provide inputs on product features from a business requirements/customer perspective. Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, scalability & economy and drive related initiatives. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Telecommunications/ Computer science/ Networking. Experience * Minimum of 6 - 10 years of work experience as Solution architect (sales engineering) in the telecommunication industry with strong enterprise customer focus * Strong experience in customer requirements discovery, design and implementation of complex network and UCC/SIP based telephony solutions. * Preference to have global organization exposure and having experience of working across cultures in high growth environments Required Skills: * Extensive technical knowledge and working experience in Data transport services, technologies - IPL, IP, MPLS VPN, VPLS, Ethernet EPL, EVPL, ELAN, and DWDM * xperience in SDN/SDWAN technology and working knowledge in building SDWAN solution with hybrid network underlay * Strong knowledge in communication protocols - TCP/IP, VLAN, SIP, BGP, OSPF, BFD SONET/SDH and OTN. * Strong knowledge and experience in building SIP based telephony solution for large enterprise customers * Working experience in building Microsoft TEAMS UCC solution and its supporting components to setup full enterprise cloud telephony. * Working experience in Datacentre, Cloud environment (ex. AWS, MS Azure, Google) * Proficient in Microsoft Office products (ex. Visio, Power point, Excel, Word and Power BI) and Salesforce.com * Strong interpersonal skills, Strong communicator, Strong presentation skills, knowledge of 'Solutions Selling' basics Desirable Skills: * Knowledge in Contact Center Solutions (Cisco HCS, WebEx CC, AWS connect) * Knowledge in UCaaS solutions (WebEx, CUCM, CUBE based solutions, SBC and Analog gateways) * Knowledge in Managed Security Services (ex. DDoS, UTM, Zscaler, 2FA) is a plus * Knowledge on mobile messaging services MMX. * Good understanding of US and international Enterprise markets. * Work experience as a sales engineer in partner/channel business environment is a plus.
