Job Description

Wealth Engineering is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to help build enterprise-level solutions for Wealth Management organizations. There is a great opportunity to double FactSet's market share in the Wealth space in the next few years, and the company will be investing more in Wealth and Content to drive the Wealth business moving forward. Responsibilities include contributing to key Wealth API initiatives including enhancing existing suite of ETF and Fund single security analysis applications as well as building out new reports on top of FactSet's newly collected Fund content. This role also includes developing and maintaining several front end applications and services for Wealth Advisors, specifically within FactSet's Company/Security and Markets tabs. The BAML deal brought 30,000 users to FactSet and has opened new doors for the Wealth business; we need to provide scalable applications and services to support the daily workflows of all those advisors and the future users of FactSet's Wealth Workstation. Responsibilities: * Organize and enhance FactSet's suite of Fund and ETF front end applications * Develop new reports on top of newly collected FactSet Fund data * Enhance and maintain Wealth Advisor-specific applications and services * Perform code reviews and coach engineers with respect to best practices * Think and communicate critically about architecture, design, and best practices * Collaborate and coordinate with other engineering teams and Product Developers across offices and departments * Desire to manage small team of developers Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree required * Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills * Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, VueJS * Experience writing highly-available, scalable, services in a production environment Highly Desired: * Experience with database technologies (Redis, Postgres, SQL, ...) * Experience deploying applications and services on FactSet.io * Experience writing FQL
