Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Banking and Capital Markets Specialism Assurance Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary PwC Bermuda has an opportunity for a manager to join our assurance practice to work with our banking team. Applicants for this position must hold an internationally recognised accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA) and have a minimum of six years of relevant audit experience working with SOX clients. Experience in the banking industry will be preferred but is not essential and the successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Knowledge and experience of US GAAP is required, as is experience with IFRS 9, 15 and PCAOB audits. As a member of the management team of the PwC Bermuda Banking Group, you will lead teams which provide assurance services to a variety of top-tier clients in the Banking and Capital Markets industry. This is a fast-paced, challenging and rapidly changing environment. As an Experienced Manager, you will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a clients operations. This will include risk assessment, planning 'review by interview', analytical procedures, methods to enhance operations, shareholder value and focused reviews of information systems. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, developing strong client relationships at a variety of levels, within key departments and conveying solutions to our client's complex business problems through the use of written reports and presentations. The opportunity will develop your responsibility in supervision, coaching development and leading teams and individual team members. The successful candidate will be an active member of the group's management team.
