Job Description

Your new company You will be working with Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust, a major acute trust serving the people of Wigan and Leigh Innovative and forward thinking, the trust is dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare for the local population in the Wigan Borough and surrounding areas. Your new role You will play an important role in the development of future reporting within the Trust and will utilise and develop your relational database skills, particularly SQL Server. You will develop, analyse and interpret business and performance information to ensure the accurate and timely production of reports, whilst developing applications and reports using Business Intelligence tools, primarily Qlik. You will develop, implement and maintain systems to ensure the efficient and effective collection of all performance management data and wider business intelligence. You will deliver the build of data tables and identify and address the continued development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse. Additionally, you will offer technical support within the BI Department and other divisional teams and enhance the Trusts Business Intelligence solutions and service. What you'll need to succeed * You will have worked with SQL server technologies previously and have some exposure to Qlik Technologies (desirable). * You will have experience and skill scripting in a BI Self Service technology such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Tableau or PowerBI and are able to adapt and pick things up easily * You will be working with Qlikview, therefore you must be open to working with new technologies What you will get in return As part of an award winning BI team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced, likeminded individuals, building on your analytical knowledge. The salary on offer is between £30,000 and £37,000.
