Job Description
WIGAN - Our client is looking for a NEW/RECENT GRAD VET to join their team on a permanent basis. They are a proudly independent and family run business, an RCVS Tier 3 hospital, first opinion and referral centre. First opinion services include in house laboratory, digital and dental X-ray, ECG, tonometer, ultrasound, endoscopy and state of the art theatres with multi parameter monitors and a viewing room to aid training. Referral services include orthopaedic, soft tissue and neurosurgery led by their Surgical Certificate holding Vet, and CT/MRI scanning led by their Imaging Certificate holding Vet, as well as arthroscopy and 3D printing. Due to practice growth, they are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team of 4 Vets, 6 RVNs, 3 Student Nurses and 1 Assistant Care Worker. You will be joining a cheerful, knowledgeable and experienced support team. They are looking for someone who is a great communicator with a keen interest in learning new skills. This is a great opportunity for a newly or recently graduated vet who is looking to join a practice that prides itself on having a combined 70 years' veterinary experience; so, a new Vet can rest assured they will have all the necessary support for starting out in their new career. You will work a 4.5 day week with no OOH. Weekends are 1:5 Saturday mornings only!!
