Job Description
Opportunity for a dynamic operations leader to join a successful manufacturing organisation. The business is an industry leader who can count many blue-chip companies as their customers. This operations position will suit candidates who have experience as a production manager, operations manager, or manufacturing manager. As the operations leader, you will be focusing on production, quality, logistics and profit/loss margins. You will implement business improvements; other responsibilities will include: - * Overseeing production and logistics operations * Managing resources to ensure that production capacity is met. * Monitoring the quality of shipments and deliveries to customers * Analysing future forecasted sales * Investigating failures and working with the quality department to solve customer issues * Leading continuous improvement (CI) projects To apply for the operations leader position, you will need: - * Experience in a leadership role, i.e. a production manager or manufacturing manager * Production planning experience, ideally using an MRP/ERP system In return, the operations leader you will receive a salary up to £40,000, 24 holidays + bank holidays and an excellent pension. Hours of work will be days, Monday to Friday.
