This is an exciting opportunity in Darlington for a Senior HR Advisor The Role: As a Senior HR Advisor you will be supporting our Cummins Business Service and Corporate segment(s) which has circa 400 employees across Europe. This role will see you partnering with each business unit within the segment to proactively support the business' needs where required and help drive a positive, forward thinking mentality across all areas. You will also be helping the development and growth of the more junior members of the team in the form of on the job training and coaching. You will also be required to train Line Managers on processes such as absence management. Your duties in the role will include: * Leading human resources business processes for a moderately complex organization with multiple functions. * Driving the improvement, deployment and effectiveness of a broad range of Human Resources processes across the business or functional organization. * Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and adherence with human resources policies and processes. * Partnering with managers and employees to resolve issues and concerns. * Providing staffing and recruiting support, evaluates structure, job design and headcount forecasting, and other people data analysis; implements tactics to select and maintain a diverse workforce. * Resolving conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on human resources matters for individuals or groups within a defined organization or function. * Leading performance management activities, including employee development planning. * Ensuring that the accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resources information systems. * Facilitating compensation process and benefits administration by partnering with shared services and corporate human resources; develops and implements workforce compensation recommendations. * Conducting and documenting investigations for business areas or corporate functional areas. * Managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advises organizational and functional leadership on compliance with key legislative requirements. * Leading training needs assessments and participates in training activities and special projects. * Participating in initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of human resources processes; leads specific improvement initiatives. * Creating employment contracts as required by local law or practice. * Coaching and mentoring less experienced Human Resources Generalists.
