This is an exciting role in a fast-pace, ambitious team. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer, eager to design and build data-driven solutions and integration components to empower prototypes and early stage product instances. As a key member of the NEXT team, you will be responsible for designing data models, architectures, data processing pipelines and related automation to give life to both experimental and production scenarios. In this role you will regularly act as an innovator by also ideating and participating actively to innovation sessions, problem solving, solution architecture and concept testing. You will bring value by applying your technology expertise and passion for innovation through Design thinking and Agile Principles. To be successful in this dynamic team you will need: * Deep understanding of modern data management technology and architectures. * Strong data engineering skills and experience in developing modern, data-driven systems. * A passion for Data, Innovation and Agile engineering. * Critical thinking and ability to model and leverage complex data to solve challenging problems in the healthcare diagnostics, IOT space. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with the following essential skills: * Must have a BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Advanced Math or related * Experience as a Data Architect, Database or Datawarehouse Architect with expertise in data standardization and ETL design * Strong knowledge and experience in Azure, GCP or AWS environments * Experience in designing Data models and storage solutions in both structured and unstructured scenarios. Experience working with Relational data and NoSQL - document stores. * Experience in designing and consuming APIs * Understanding of modern system design patterns for large-scale production applications * Experience in working as part of multidisciplinary, Agile teams * Excellent command of written and spoken English - ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications - experience with any of the following would be a plus: * Experience with telemetry, instrumentation and integration of data from connected devices * Real-time data and processing systems * Experience in languages such as Python or R * Experience with Healthcare or Lifesciences projects * Experience in designing Business Intelligence components and data visualizers Interested in Joining the Team?
